Christmas Tree

Yesterday Joey and I went to Sheep Creek Canyon to cut a Christmas tree.  We also had my folks and Joey's mother Jill, brother Chris, nephew Skyler, and Reina and Dagon along.  It was a beautiful day and we were beautiful as well.

We had a wonderful time and our group came away with two fir trees (ours was one), a pinion pine and a long-needle pine.  We have our tree up and as soon as the rest of the living room is tidy again, we'll put in a picture of the tree in its lighted glory.

  2. Thanks! We would have loved to have you here! Hopefully your family will be here for Thanksgiving sometime and then we can all go together! I'm thinking that next Thanksgiving might be in Cokeville and we might get a permit for there...

  3. I second the sentiment - what a beautiful tree! How fun that you go to the hills and cut it yourself! Did Mom and Dad get the other one? We are excited to be able to see it in person in less than 27 days :) Thanks for posting!

  4. Mom and Dad got the pinion pine and it's really pretty. Joey's mother has the other fir and his brother cut the long-needle pine. As far as I know, there aren't any decorations on any of the trees yet...but we're going to try to remedy that on our tree soon.
